By booking an appointment with Kels Beauty Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

BOOKINGS & DEPOSITS

All appointments require a deposit to secure your booking. Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new appointment time if sufficient notice is provided (see Cancellation Policy below).

Remaining balances are payable on the day of your appointment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

As appointments are one-on-one and time is reserved specifically for you:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to your appointment

  • Changes made within 48 hours may result in forfeiture of your deposit

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may require full payment of the booked service

This policy ensures fairness and protects the time allocated to each client.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time to ensure your full service can be completed.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled. In some cases, this may result in cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit.

Health & Safety

Clients must inform Kels Beauty Services of any:

  • Skin conditions

  • Allergies

  • Medical conditions

  • Recent cosmetic procedures

  • Sensitivities to products

Patch testing is recommended for lash, brow and tint services. While all products are applied professionally and with care, Kels Beauty Services is not responsible for allergic reactions where prior conditions were not disclosed.

Home-Based Studio Policy

Kels Beauty Services operates from a private home studio. The full address will be provided upon confirmed booking.

To maintain a calm, personalised experience:

  • Please attend your appointment alone unless otherwise arranged

  • Children are not permitted unless being serviced

  • Respect for the private premises is expected at all times.

Results & Expectations

All services are performed professionally and tailored to individual features and preferences. While every effort is made to achieve desired results, outcomes may vary depending on skin type, hair type and aftercare.

Clear communication during your consultation ensures the best possible result.

Photography

Kels Beauty Services may take photographs of completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to have your images shared, please advise prior to your appointment.

Pricing

All pricing is subject to change without notice. Quotes provided for bridal or event bookings are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

Liability

Kels Beauty Services takes every reasonable precaution to ensure client safety and satisfaction. However, clients acknowledge that beauty treatments carry inherent risks, and services are undertaken at their own discretion.

Bridal

By booking an appointment with Kels Beauty Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Booking & Retainer

A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your wedding date. Your date is not held until the retainer has been received and confirmation provided.

The retainer is separate from the final balance and is deducted from your total booking cost.

Due to the limited number of weddings accepted per year, retainers are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.

Bridal Trials

Bridal trials are strongly recommended and are booked separately prior to the wedding date.

Trials are designed to refine your desired look, adjust tones, and ensure confidence ahead of your big day. Changes requested on the wedding day that significantly differ from the trial look may not be possible due to time constraints.

Minimum Booking Requirements

Bridal bookings may be subject to a minimum service requirement, particularly for peak wedding dates (Friday–Sunday). This ensures availability and time allocation for your event.

Final Numbers & Schedule

Final service numbers must be confirmed no later than 2–4 weeks prior to the wedding date.

Once confirmed, reductions in services may still be charged in full, as time has been reserved exclusively for your booking.

A detailed schedule will be provided to ensure a calm, structured and on-time preparation experience.

Payment Terms

The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the wedding date unless otherwise agreed.

Failure to finalise payment may result in cancellation of services.

Travel

Travel fees may apply depending on location and start time. Early morning start times may incur additional fees.

Parking must be provided where required.

Changes & Cancellations

In the event of cancellation:

  • The retainer remains non-refundable.

  • If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the wedding date, a percentage or full payment may be required depending on circumstances.

If Kels Beauty Services is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, reasonable efforts will be made to assist in sourcing an alternative artist. Liability is limited to monies paid.

Preparation & Skin Condition

Clients are responsible for ensuring skin and hair are prepared appropriately for services.

Kels Beauty Services is not responsible for outcomes affected by:

  • Severe skin reactions

  • Sunburn

  • Allergic reactions

  • Hair not prepped as advised

Clear communication and following preparation advice ensures the best results.

Photography & Portfolio Use

Professional photographs may be used for portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
